Indoor season is now halfway over. For those of you who have not been out to shoot on Wednesday or Thursday nights, why? Our attendance is very low on these nights while our Sunday participation is outstanding - mostly from support from the other clubs! On Sunday we had 32 shooters with less than half belonging to Mayberry. We must have club member participation!
A huge thank you to those who do come out and shoot and volunteer to help run registration and the kitchen. Your support is greatly appreciated.
We have members supplying cardboard for targets - thank you. It doesn’t seem like much but it helps out a lot!
Beginners class is just about over. We hope to add several more new members from them. Thanks to those who helped out the second half of the season - Doug, Dave, Winnie, Steve, and Tony. We have had many requests to continue classes through the summer. If any one could commit to helping out we would like to add a summer class!
The League is going great. Several new faces, several past members, many current members - a great bunch!
We have the MAA State Fita Indoor Championship at the club this coming weekend. You can register with Colleen at Mcgowancol@aol.com for time preference. There is a line Saturday evening as well as 2 lines on Sunday.
Renewal notices have been mailed out. Please remember to fill them out to make sure we have the correct information as well as an email address if you have one.
Our webpage is currently being updated. If anyone is interested in helping maintain it in the future please contact either Wanda Robinson or myself. Everyone has different specialties, i.e. indoor shooting, field, 3D, fita, taking pictures, which makes any and all help given appreciated.
